We serve a large portion of Southwest Missouri, including Neosho and a surrounding radius of approximately 25 miles. To check if we service your location, reach out to our team and we'd be happy to assist you.

How much is a service call?

Accepted Answer

A service call is $95.

That includes driving to your home or business, diagnosing your problem, and completing the repair itself up to a 1 hour timeframe on-site. Additional time is billed at $95 an hour and may be billed in half hours. Parts used are an additional cost.

How is the order of service calls determined?

S&S Maintenance will always do our very best to service every single customer in a timely manner. Most service calls are scheduled same-day or next-day. In the hottest and coldest days of the year, however, there may be a back-log. Customers are served in the order calls are received unless there is an extreme emergency.

How do you determine pricing for your other services like change-outs, etc?

Our pricing is based on the type of service, materials required, and the scope of the job. We provide transparent, upfront pricing before any work begins, so there are no surprises. Reach out to us to discuss specifics for your project.

What brands of HVAC systems do you install?

Accepted Answer

Although we will always do our best to accommodate customer requests, we most commonly install Goodman and Amana HVAC systems and Innovair mini-split systems. We have found that these brands are high quality while being affordable, have the best warranty, and are easy to locate replacement parts for when that is required. If you have questions about another brand or why these brands are our top choice, just ask!

What size HVAC unit do I need?

The correct sizing of your HVAC can vary depending on many factors including square footage, ceiling height, climate and sun exposure, number and orientation of windows, insulation quality, and heat-load. A team member will visit your home or business to measure and evaluate all of these factors to determine correct unit sizing for all estimates and/or to address service issues.

What is the lifespan of a HVAC system?

Although there are many, many factors that can have bearing on this question- industry averages list A/C systems at 10-15 years with furnaces lasting slightly longer.

How often should I change my air filter?

Accepted Answer

Standard recommendation for a filter's lifespan is 1-3 months. This can vary depending on many factors including rating and thickness of filter, location in home, whether or not pets are present in the home, residents' allergies, etc. It is best to check your filter often. If the filter has significant color change, is covered in hair or dust residue, is missing any pieces, or is being pulled concave into the shaft- it is time to replace it.

Our team handles light plumbing repairs. If you have a leak, need to replace a toilet or fixture, etc, we are here to help!

We do not offer whole-home plumbing installations or replacements.

Our team handles light electrical repairs. If you need to replace an electric panel or upgrade outlets and switches, etc in your home- we are here to help!
